Nestled in a green bower in the South of Grasse, between Valbonne and Mougins, 20 minutes from Cannes and Antibes and 25 minutes from Nice airport, the “Domaine des Mûriers” reveals the charm and beauty that all travellers aspire to when staying in Provence Côte d’Azur.
We are in Plascassier:
Located on a small promontory, Plascassier takes its name from its elevated position: Escassier meaning "mounted on stilts" in Provençal.
Edith Piaf had a beautiful property there.
Almost opposite our property is the open-air cultivation for Dior of the Centifolia Rose, picked at dawn and by hand from May to mid-June, and the Grandiflorum Jasmine picked from August to mid-October.
The old village is a mere 600m walk from the estate. You will find a good restaurant "l'Auberge de Provence" but also the post office and a pharmacy. A little further on you will find the "Auberge St Donat", the pizzeria "Bella Sicilia", 2 bakeries, a tobacco shop, a petrol station and a Supermarket.
In the immediate vicinity of the famous hill-top villages which have inspired so many artists, the numerous golf courses, forests and beaches, "the Domaine des Mûriers promises an exceptional stay for all tastes.
The Villa
We have rethought, fitted out, and decorated the villa so that our guests, like us, feel cosy in a warm and welcoming home while enjoying a particularly appreciable comfort as well as total freedom.
The furniture and objects mainly brought back from travels, have no other codes than those of harmony and refinement where cheerful colours are given a place for pride.
You will particularly appreciate the large living area with an open kitchen, the lounge with library and fireplace for chilly evenings.
You will enjoy the bedrooms, each unique and tastefully decorated with high-end comfort.
You will savour our varied gourmet breakfasts, served on the terrace or the large dining room table.
Our garden where many Mediterranean species can be found - olive trees, fig trees, cypresses, mandarin trees, and other majestic palm trees - dazzles with luxuriance.
The big old-tiled terrace in the shade of its magnificent mulberry-plane trees offers freshness and reverie while the swimming pool below invites you to sunbathe and laze in the sun.
